Why we exist
It doesn’t matter if it’s the first time you’ve picked up a racket, if you’re back after months off, or if you just want a change from your usual gym. There’s always a way to move that you haven’t tried yet, and you shouldn’t have to sign a contract to find it.
With Motiv8 you try without commitment: outdoors or indoors, on your own or in a group, your usual sport or the one nobody ever suggested. Book, train, and decide after you’ve felt it.
The motivation
Motivation, and the urge to try different things, whether that’s training outdoors or testing another activity, but always with the freedom to choose. The idea came about because we asked ourselves: what if there wasn’t one right place to train, but an endless world of options at your disposal?
Motiv8 is more than motivation. The name stands for our drive to make exercise accessible and open to everyone, in its full extent, with endless ways to move. We believe movement doesn’t have a single right format, that there’s always another activity, another space, another way of doing it that you haven’t tried yet.
Who we are
Motiv8 was born from two sports practitioners and professionals who felt the other side first-hand: rigid schedules, little flexibility, and the idea that training has to be tied to a single space or activity.
We built the platform we wish we’d had: a place where you find workouts that fit your life, and where those who teach work with full autonomy.
The founding team:
Both hold degrees in Sports Science and postgraduate qualifications in Sports Nutrition, with over 12 years on the ground. Former competitive athletes, they lived the importance of variety in sport from both sides, as practitioners and as professionals.
That experience is where Motiv8 came from: a platform born on the gym floor, not in an office.
