1. Data Controller
Motiv8 is the entity responsible for processing personal data collected through the use of the platform.
Motiv8 determines the purposes and means of processing personal data, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable national legislation.

2. Personal Data Collected
Motiv8 only collects data necessary for the provision of its services.
2.1 Data provided by the User
- Full name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Billing details
- IBAN (where applicable to Professionals or Clubs)
- Professional data and documentation required for platform registration
2.2 Usage Data
- Booking history
- In-app interactions
- Technical device and access information
2.3 Health Data (Special Categories)
Data relating to the User’s physical condition may be collected, such as weight, height or information from clinical questionnaires.
This data is considered a special category of data under Article 9 of the GDPR.
Processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of the data subject’s explicit and informed consent.
Consent may be withdrawn at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
Failure to provide this data may limit service personalisation but does not prevent general use of the platform.
3. Purposes of Processing
Personal data is processed for the following purposes:
- Creating and managing a platform account
- Processing bookings and payments
- Communicating with users
- Compliance with legal and tax obligations
- Ensuring security and fraud prevention
- Improving the user experience
Processing is carried out on the basis of:
- Contract performance
- Compliance with legal obligations
- Data subject’s consent (where applicable)
- Motiv8’s legitimate interest, particularly for security and service improvement
4. Data Retention
Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected:
- Active account data: for the duration of the account
- Tax and billing data: for the applicable legal period
- Health data: while valid consent exists
- Data required for legal defence: until the applicable statutory limitation periods expire
After the applicable period, data will be securely deleted or anonymised.
5. Data Sharing
Motiv8 may engage external service providers acting as data processors, including:
- Hosting and technology infrastructure services
- Payment processors
- Communication and support tools
These providers process data only in accordance with Motiv8’s instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.
Data may also be shared when required by law or a competent authority.
5.1 International Transfers
Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, Motiv8 ensures that such transfers are carried out under appropriate legal mechanisms, namely:
- European Commission adequacy decisions; or
- Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission

Motiv8 implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against:
- Unauthorised access
- Accidental loss
- Unlawful alteration
- Unauthorised disclosure
Despite the measures adopted, no system is entirely immune to risk, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

- Data portability
- Object to processing
- Withdraw consent at any time

8. Minors
The platform is not intended for users under 16 years of age without authorisation from their legal representatives.
Should Motiv8 become aware of unauthorised collection of minors’ data, it will proceed with its deletion.
9. Changes to the Privacy Policy
Motiv8 may update this Privacy Policy at any time.
Relevant changes will be communicated to users via the application or by email, and new consent may be requested where legally required.
